I love AfroHairCandy for bringing truly natural products to us, I wish they were around when I was younger. I have tried a few items from the hair care range after seeing an advert on social media. I was experiencing post partum hair loss and wanted to save my edges.

I initially tried the hair loss kit with the spray, leave in, cowash and chebe butter.

The ingredients are amazing all natural, no fillers or preservatives so they need to be kept in the fridge for freshness.

The spray needs to be shaken up to allow the oil and liquid to mix, unfortunately in my home its quite cool so the oils solidify, so I have to run the bottle under a hot tap in order to melt the oils so I can shake the mixture up before using. This did mean that I couldn't just quickly moisturise my hair at times.

The cowash cleanses gently and doesn't strip the hair at all. It's effective if you only use natural products that don't build up in the hair.

I wear my hair in locs and I am used to lather when I cleanse, so takes some getting used to.

I love the leave in, leaves hair very soft. I use this and the butter on my edges.

I have also purchased the gel, which is fantastic,I use it to retwist my roots, has a decent hold and doesn't flake at all.

Oh yes and my edges have grown back.

I am looking forward to trying the body care.
